Figure Skating

The US Figure Skating Learn to Skate USA program offers something for everyone: from the first steps on the ice to mastering advanced techniques. Solid skill development in agility, balance, coordination and speed allows skaters to confidently advance to more specialized areas of skating.

FEE: $70.00 per person for 10 weeks. NO REFUNDS

TO REGISTER: Fill out and detach this registration form and include payment. Fee must be paid in full in order to be enrolled. Free use of rental skates is included in fee. Registrations accepted by mail.

SNOWPLOW SAM 1 thru 4 @ 4:30 to 5:15
Introductory classes divided into 4 progressive levels designed to help all ages develop agility, balance, coordination and speed, which are essential for developing fundamental movement skills and physical literacy.

BASIC SKILLS Levels 1‐6 @ 5:15p to 6p

Individuals must have completed Snowplow Sam or have equivalent skills. Emphasis is on       development of proper skating posture and technique, forward and backward crossovers, turns and  edges. Hockey instruction not available at this level

ADVANCED/ASPIRE/Free Style @ 6p to 6:30p

Additional (optional) ice-time and instruction available to enrolled students who have proficiency in Basic skills levels 4 and up. Emphasis is on the introduction of spins, jumps and other exciting athletic and artistic moves using full ice patterns. No additional charge

FREE SKATE @ 5:15 to 6:00
Each free skate level is comprised of a variety of progressive skating skills, transitions, spins and jumps; all of which build on the previous skill, providing skaters a strong foundation of all elements.
